UA Little Rock Counseling

I am currently working as the sole psychiatric nurse practitioner at a mid-sized public university (UA Little Rock). I am also currently back in school working on my EMT basic! I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1998, a nurse since 2002, and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2009.  Along the way I had worked in the ED, I had been a SANE nurse, substance abuse residential treatment facility for women and their children. I worked at Arkansas Children's Hospital in post-op, and a few psychiatric hospitals (oh so briefly, story behind that). Before I was a nurse, I was a therapeutic foster care case worker, a mobile crisis counselor with Dekalb County (Georgia) Police, and a mental health therapist for child/adolescent psychiatry in a program called Community Outreach at UAMS.
