Gaby, whose pronouns are they/them, has been involved in the healthcare system since 2008, where they discovered their passion for education, critical care, and mental health. They have been working at a Trauma Level I hospital in the Southwest for the past 16 years, and have been a nurse for eight years. Their healthcare background encompasses seven years as a volunteer and member of the board of directors at the Agora Crisis Center, three years in Med-Surg, five years at a Medical/Cardiac ICU, and they are currently the clinical educator at their Level I Emergency Department. Gaby loves to crack a good joke and will do anything for chocolate chip cookies.
