Heather, SANE-P, RN

I have been a nurse for 13 years, working as a Labor & Delivery nurse, Med Surg nurse, and Forensic nurse. Three years ago I was able to take over ownership of the Forensic Nursing company I had worked for and quit my hospital career to be a business owner and continue doing exams. I have certification as a pediatric forensic nurse as well as expertise in strangulation. Recently I have started working as an expert witness where I can continue to educate the public on sexual assault exams. Part of my job is helping to train law enforcement and advocates on forensic exams and I really enjoy that part of the job.
