Nicole Weathers, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, is a nursing professional development specialist scaling the divide between practice, academia, and entrepreneurship with a passion for sharing resources to all corners of healthcare. As the Program Manager for the University of Iowa College of Nursing – Online Nurse Residency Program, Nicole has been blazing the trail in the world of online nurse residency implementing transition to practice programs that support new graduate nurses nationwide for nearly a decade. Through this work, Nicole has developed a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship recently co-creating Stat PD Marketplace which is an online platform that brings buyers and sellers together to simplify the professional development of healthcare workers by cutting down on the busy work of building and rebuilding education, tools, and other resources needed to do the job.
