Susan Davis is a critical care nurse, educator, and paramedic. She started her nursing career in trauma, then moved to cardiac and flight. She has since worked as the director of the American Heart Association for a Healthcare System, as well as a paramedic and nursing professor. She is currently the Resuscitation Education Manager for a South Florida healthcare system. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and is a Basic, Advanced, and Pediatric Life Support Instructor. During her Master's and Doctorate education, she developed a resuscitation education program for nurses to improve code blue confidence and patient outcomes. She is now on a mission to share that program with nurses worldwide. Susan lives on the water in Florida and loves boating, kayaking, and cycling year-round in the sunny South. Her family raises beef cattle and are commercial crabbers. She cycles on her Peloton under the leaderboard name “CodePRep” and rides with her!
