Hi, I'm Larry Logsdon and I am a licensed RN practicing in California. I currently work as a clinical nurse educator for a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I have been in healthcare for almost 15 years with experience in a variety of specialties. I have worked in the NICU, Pediatrics, OHS/telemetry, Adult Intermediate Critical Care, Clinical Instructing, Nuclear Medicine, and Renal/Dialysis. I currently hold a Master of Science in Nursing Education but made a pit stop at every degree level starting with my ASN. I have earned several certifications throughout my career and as a lifelong learner, aim to add more because, why not? Some of the hats I wear are being a Certified Lactation Counselor and an instructor for PALS, NRP, and STABLE. I love cheesy sayings and one that personally inspires me is the one that states “if your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough." This particular one is what has motivated me to transition from the comfort of bedside nursing to being a full-fledged nurse educator. I am not an avid leisure reader so I do not have any great book recommendations. However, I do enjoy John Grisham and John Steinbeck.
